SolidWorks API course — questions
Do I need programming experience to learn the SolidWorks API?
No. The automation track starts from programming foundations written for CAD engineers and builds up to C# add-ins; you need SolidWorks design basics, which the design courses cover.
VBA macros or C#: which one does the course teach?
Both. The API course opens with SolidWorks macros in VBA and then moves to C#, the language used for standalone add-ins and batch tools — the same API object model throughout.
Is the SolidWorks course live or recorded?
Both, course by course: Recorded + trainer, Live batch. Recorded courses include trainer support and a 1-on-1 doubt-clearing session. Each course card above says which it is.
How long is the SolidWorks API course?
